Hello, I recently had four brand-new tires installed at your location and paid approximately $711 for the service. Since the installation, Iβve experienced a persistent humming/noise from my vehicle. I recently took my vehicle to another repair shop for diagnosis because I was concerned about the noise. They thoroughly investigated the issue and tested different tires because they suspected the recently installed tires may have been improperly installed/deformed. They ultimately determined that my rear tires needed to be addressed and that I also had a passenger-side wheel bearing issue. I am extremely disappointed because these tires were installed less than two months ago, and Iβve now had to spend an additional $576 addressing the resulting issues. I also was not comfortable returning to Pep Boys for further work after this experience. I would like to discuss reimbursement for the tire-related portion of the expenses, as I paid for a new tire installation and reasonably expected the tires to be properly installed and functioning correctly. Please have a manager or customer service representative contact me regarding this matter. I can provide my original receipt and documen

I would give 0 stars if I could. My friend dropped her car off at the Pep Boys on South Boulevard in Charlotte for what should have been a straightforward repair. When she went to pick it up, she was shocked to find her windshield had a large crack and one of the tires was completely flatβdamage that was not there when the vehicle was dropped off. What made the situation even worse was the way it was handled. The manager was dismissive, unprofessional, and showed absolutely no concern for the condition of the vehicle or the customer. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to resolve the issue, they were argumentative and acted as if it wasnβt their problem. The customer service from start to finish was terrible. No accountability, no empathy, and no effort to make things right. Entrusting your vehicle to a repair shop should give you peace of mind, not leave you with more damage than you started with. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location if you value your vehicle and expect even basic customer service. There are plenty of shops in Charlotte that treat their customers with respect- this is not one of them.

Poor communication. Set an appointment for 5 for a tire patch. showed up at 4:45. was told it would be 45 mins to an hour, completely reasonable for a patch. Waited an hour and my car was still sitting in the parking lot untouched. Took my keys and left. If you canβt respect my time you wonβt get my business.

What a horrible experiece. Brought my pristine Jaguar there for new tires. First, the technician working on my car wasn't able to get the car started. So I went out to help him (have to push the starter button twice). I noticed he did not use any seat or floor covers on a beige connoly leather interior. The beige leither steering wheel was already covered in black grease, the seats, door panels and the carpet were covered in black grease too. I, very calm and friendly, aproached the store manager about it, his response "we will clean it don't worry". I asked him what they are going to use to clean? He showed me some alcohol wipes. I told him not to use those. Thankfully there is an Autozone next door, so I spent 30$ on leather cleaner and towels, which I asked him to please use. Needless to say, there were still black stains when I finally got the car back. No appologies, nothing. Arriving back home I checked the tire pressure, factory settings are 30 psi front 33 psi rear, all 4 tires were set to 42 psi. Next I checked the wheel nut torque. Factory setting is supposed to be 125Nm. Obviously the didn't use a torque wrench. Istead they must have used an impact gun full blast. The me

I had such a great experience at Pep Boys thanks to Caleb. From the moment I came in, he really took the time to listen to my concerns about my brakes and made sure I understood what was going on and what the next steps were. He explained everything clearly and was so patient throughout the whole process. Car issues can be stressful and intimidating, but Caleb completely changed that. He made everything feel smooth and transparent. If youβre looking for someone knowledgeable, trustworthy, and who genuinely cares about their customers, I seriously canβt recommend Caleb enough. He made whatβs usually a stressful situation feel easy. Thank you Caleb and team!!
